Module 1: The Me Work – Foundations of Antiracist Equity
This introductory module helps participants understand their own identities, biases, and roles in advancing equity and antiracism in their school, organization, or community. Through short, practice-based lessons, learners explore key concepts such as race, power, privilege, and intersectionality, and begin building the self-awareness required for sustainable change.
Educators, leaders, and staff gain language, reflection tools, and everyday strategies to recognize harm, disrupt deficit mindsets, and model more equitable, inclusive behaviors. The Me Work module is ideal for individuals and teams who are new to DEI and antiracism or who need a shared foundation before moving into more advanced collaborative work.
